Young Chef will learn how to safely work in the kitchen and properly use tools while learning French vocabulary and French Cuisine History.



TUESDAYs 9am-11am $75/class/student 8-12y French ingredients included
FRIDAYs 10:30am-12:30pm or 4pm-6pm $75/class/student 12-17y French ingredients included
This hands-on class will teach you and your child to cook a variety of delicious French foods that they get to taste and enjoy:
choux à la crème, crêpe, crème brulée, ratatouille, quiche Lorraine, flan pâtissier …
- Cutting, slicing, dicing, julienne, shredding (with safety tools)
- Dry & liquid measuring
- Safe food handling/food assembly
- Sweet vs. Savory ingredients and dishes & food substitutions
- using fresh, seasonal and organic ingredients
Young Chef will make 2 recipes per class, all hands-on and from scratch. Your family will get to enjoy your student’s masterpiece, whether you choose to cook it right away or save it for later.
Not suitable for students with severe food allergies. Limited to 4 students/class.

Born into a family of pastry chefs for three generations, my grandfather worked with the famous pastry chef “Lenôtre” in Paris, and my godfather has been the best pastry and chocolate master of the Champagne Ardennes region. I love celebrating the amazing French cuisine. The old traditions from France are very important to me, and I would be happy to show your little Chef how to enjoy the famous delicious food from France.
