USING ART TO DEEPEN LEARNING ACROSS SCHOOL DISCIPLINES

Bonjour! Je m’appelle Delphine Pilarski, native from France, I am a Fine Art Artist, a French Tutor, a Mother of 2, a zero waste Consultant (preserve our planet) and the Muse of a famous Spanish Painter Juan Castilla. I have been teaching French and the Arts for 20 years starting with Henri Matisse grand grand children and Nikki de St Phalle grand children in NYC. My students are from different languages and culture.

As a Loving, caring person, I love teaching to the children with passion, patience and empathy. My devotion to teach Art and the French Culture is born for the needs of my two wonderful children then to their friends and all young artists. The most important thing for me is to show them how interesting and different the world is, to encourage them to read, learn and explore the world through art. To show them that a simple sketch or idea can grow into a big project. They learn to be confident, to express themselves through art, to defend their ideas and to dream.

I opened the successful French School Maternelle Petit Peton for the 3-5 years old in 2010 and MyLittleArtMuseum in 2015 for the 6-14 years old in the San Francisco Bay Area as an Artistic Director, teacher and owner.

Since a few years, I’ve been teaching also to adults all my passions and make long-life friends.

I gained my art expertise as an Art Director in Contemporary Art Galleries but also in the Antiques Dealer World (Drouot, Camille Burgi, Tajan Auction House) in Paris. Worked with international artists and Hollywood stars celebrities in NYC, Paris and in San Francisco for Luxury Brand as CHANEL, EMILIO PUCCI, ETRO and LVMH.

My studies: Art History from the University of Reims, France, Advanced Oil and Figure at NEW YORK ACADEMY OF ART, Perspective at Beaux Arts de Paris, Visual Arts at Berkeley Extension SFMOMA, Museum Studies with Hanna Regev, Architecture edxCourses at Harvard and Fashion at the Fashion Institute of Paris. I hold also a CSEFEL Teaching Pyramid  Certificate by the Center for Excellence in Child Development, UC Davis funded by the Child Development Division of the California Department of Education.  

Besides I recently earned a Theater and design Certificate (Universita di Napoli Frederico II), Color Therapy Foundation Diploma, an Art Therapy certificate for children, a Climate Change Education Certificate, a Sustainable Packaging in a circular Economy (Deft University of Technology).

  Delphine est Franco-Américaine, née en France. Elle a passé sa jeunesse a Reims où elle étudie l’Histoire de l’Art et commence a travailler en Galerie d’Art et au Musée des Beaux Arts. Puis part étudier à Manhattan, New York Academy of Art et à Baruch College. Elle vivra entourée d’artistes avec la famille Shannon, descendants d’Henri Matisse. De retour à Paris, elle travaille dans le monde du luxe chez LVMH LOUIS VUITTON, EMILIO PUCCI et la Maison CHANEL tout en prenant des cours aux Beaux Arts de Paris. Très vite, elle veut retourner dans le monde des Arts et travaille à Drouot pour un grand Antiquaire Camille Burgi ainsi que pour la Maison aux enchères Tajan. Elle suivra de nombreux cours d’art avec la Formation Drouot, Ecole de Marché de l’Art. Elle retrouve les Galeries d’Art Contemporain quelques temps après où elle défendra de nombreux artistes en tant que Directrice de Galerie et deviendra élève et muse du peintre Juan Castilla. Quelques-unes de ses œuvres sont en vente à La Galerie de Delphine.

Aux États-Unis, elle continue ses formations en Museum Studies et Visual Arts à Berkeley Extension, en Architecture à EdXHarward, en Théâtre/Set Design à l’Université de Naples, en Economie Circulaire à l’Université de technologie de Delft, en Colour Therary and Art Therapy.

Elle ouvre une Maternelle Française ” Petit Peton “en 2010 a San Francisco puis les Ateliers créatifs et d’Histoire de l’Art “MyLittleArtMuseum” en 2015 dans la Silicon Valley, Santa Clara.

Passionnée par la diffusion de la Culture Française et des Arts auprès des enfants, elle ouvre ses Ateliers de théâtre. Elle peint tous les décors, écrit les scripts et confectionnent la plupart des costumes, les accessoires et se charge de la mise en Scène.
